Nike has opened its first women’s-only store in Europe, selecting London as the location for this significant launch. The store, located at 33 King’s Road in west London, is the brand’s third women’s-only store globally, following similar openings in Newport Beach, California, and Shanghai, China.
The London store covers 2,200 ft² and provides a variety of bespoke services designed specifically for female customers, including pant hemming, gait analysis, and bra fitting. Additionally, the store will offer free weekly Nike+ Training Club classes and a Nike+ Run Club. A “click and collect” system is also available, allowing customers to order online and pick up their purchases at the store.
“Our new King’s Road store is yet another example of our commitment to women to bring them the very best of Nike,” said Heidi O’Neill, VP & GM Nike Stores. “Our women’s business has never been stronger, and our deep connections with women at retail are helping fuel this growth.”
The store’s interior design features artwork by Isamaya French, a London-based illustrator and make-up artist, and the changing rooms are equipped with three light settings: morning, afternoon, and evening.
