March 17, 2020

IPG Mediabrands’ global performance media marketing unit, Reprise, has named Neilson Hall as its new Head of eCommerce EMEA, having previously led an in-house team at retail giant Shop Direct.

Hall led one of the UK’s largest in-house eCommerce teams at the online retailer, now rebranded as The Very Group. Before this, he led on eCommerce at Omnicom, having started in the sector at iProspect before co-founding agency and tech platform Illuminate.

In his new role, he will work across EMEA to align skills to establish the new eCommerce team, ensuring the function is developing, growing and delivering across the board, and supporting UM and Initiative – IPG Mediabrands’ sister agencies.

Jimmy Schougaard, President at Reprise EMEA, said: “Having someone with Neilson’s experience and skill-set will be integral to the agency as eCommerce continues to be a key area of focus for our clients. With the growing market need for a full suite of performance marketing services, including eCommerce, Neilson will be instrumental in helping us realize our vision and will help drive growth and the best solutions for all of Reprise’s clients, and those from the wider IPG Mediabrands network. Reprise is going through an exciting time and we are excited to have Neilson on board.”

Hall himself added: “I’m really excited about joining the team at IPG. It’s clear the group is taking eCommerce and the incremental opportunity it offers our clients very seriously. I feel all the component parts are here to have a truly market leading offering – they just need to be pulled together around the customer.”
